Post-doc positions are limited to 2 years but can be prolonged. Ph.D.-positions are limited to 3 years.

In our research projects, we model oncogenic signal transduction pathways for the computational classification of cancer.

The successsful candidate will have an M.Sc. or Ph.D. respectively in physics, statistics, computer science, mathematics, medicine or biology.

Knowledge in one or more of the following fields are advantageous but not required:

  • Machine learning
  • Statistics
  • Microarray analysis
  • Cancer biology

You should be interested in the development and the numeric evaluation of mathematical models in an interdisciplinary context.
