Who wouldn’t want to attend MBA schools for free? Obviously, a lot of people would want to have the opportunity of studying for their MBA degree for free. Being able to attend MBA is almost a dream come true to a few people especially those who find it difficult to support one’s own education. Fortunately, there are MBA scholarships for women who want to attain their MBA goal for free and in reputable schools. Most of these MBA scholarships prioritize married women and those in unique situations; for example, those who are working while at the same time attending school, those married to US servicemen, or even those enlisted in the army.

Within the framework of international development cooperation and assistance, each year, Hellenic Aid grants approximately 100 scholarships to foreign and expatriate students deriving from developing countries for graduate and postgraduate studies at Greek universities and technological education institutes.

There are five scholarships available in order to foster and encourage the training in Plastic Surgery in Europe, through a one or three month scholarship in a European Centre of Plastic Surgery (see Institutes) or in a department run by a EURAPS member.

PhD student positions are available for Jan 2011 intake in Environmental Microbial Systems (EMS) Group, School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.

The R&D topics will cover:

  • Bioconversion of waste to energy and other valuable products
  • Biological treatment of toxic compounds and nutrients
  • Novel bioprocess design
  • Microbial ecophysiology and community dynamics in environmental systems
  • Environmental molecular techniques development

In accordance with the Regulations for Advanced Training and Qualification of Human Resources, and taking into account the Research Grant Holder Statute, published by Law no. 40/2004 of August 18, the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) opens a call for funding of individual grants of the following types:

Goldsmiths’ Department of Music, University of London, has a lively and varied research base, large postgraduate community, active performing tradition, and offers proximity to London’s resources.

The Department of Music’s research is focussed in three overarching areas:

  • The study of music and contemporary culture across a range of genres/contexts, and the intersections between them
  • Composition and creative practice, particularly in relation to music, other media, and technology, which offer a unifying thread to practice-based research
  • Interdisciplinary and computational musicology, both in core areas of the field and in evolving newer research areas and methodologies

P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship (IPS) Fund was established to provide scholarships for international women students to pursue graduate study in the United States and Canada.

Eligibility:

  • An applicant must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study, working toward a graduate degree in a college or university in the United States or Canada.
  • A student must not hold citizenship or permanent residency of the United States or Canada.
  • Scholarships are not given for research, internships, practical training, or travel.
  • In order to qualify for her first scholarship, an applicant must have a full year of coursework remaining and be enrolled on campus for the entire school year.
  • Doctoral students who have completed coursework and are working on dissertations only are not eligible as first-time applicants.
